I am a faculty at the School of Computer Science. Previously, I held academic positions at the School of Computer Science at NISER, India, and the R. C. Bose Centre for Cryptology and Security at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Prior to that I was a post-doctoral researcher at the ARIC team of ENS-Lyon hosted by Damien Stehlé and Fabien Laguillaumie. I received my PhD from Indian Statistical Institute under the supervision of Bimal Roy.

My primary research area is Cryptography. The goal of my research is to build the theoretical foundation of practical cryptosystems. I am also interested in Distribution Testing, particularly in the Conditional Sampling framework.

My research on Distribution Testing is supported by EPSRC via a standard research grant.
